The calendar committee for Garden City Public Schools is seeking input from parents regarding calendar options for the 2026-2027 school year. As much as we would like to have students back in school, we do not feel that can be done safely due to forecasted extreme windchill temperatures. There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, January 16th for Garden City Public Schools. Stay warm!

Santa isn’t ready to go back to school yet! Due to expected inclement weather conditions, all Garden City Public Schools facilities will be closed to the public on Monday, January 8th.  The Board of Education meeting will proceed as normal at 6pm and will be open to the public. Staff members are not required to report to work, unless specifically instructed by their supervisor.  Please stay tuned to USD 457 social media for the most current updates.  Stay safe and warm!
