The 2023 summer meal program begins next week. We will offer mobile, grab-and-go, and on-campus meals. Families do not need to be residents of Garden City, however children must be present to receive their free meal. Adults may purchase a lunch for $4.00. No reservations are needed.
The summer meal program is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture; this institution is an equal opportunity provider.
School district staff came together last night to celebrate the end of another successful school year. Employees who have served milestone years were honored, as well as those who earned advanced degrees, those who were nominated for or won various education awards, and staff who are retiring from the district. This year's retirees celebrated over 412 combined years of service to Garden City Public Schools!

Lisa Juel, Special Education/Mental Health Liaison at GC Achieve, and Alice Hilt, drama/theatre teacher at GCHS were recognized on Saturday at the Region 1 Kansas Teacher of the Year award ceremony in Salina.
